Workshop Manager
Duties & Responsibilities
- To ensure that all company
vehicles are serviced and repaired
properly to avoid unnecessary
breakdowns
- To liaise with procurement office to
ensure that correct spare parts
ordered are purchased in a timely
manner to avoid unnecessary delays
- Manage all staff reporting to the
position to effectively train, evaluate,
motivate, delegate and monitor their
activities
- Monitoring and confirmation of
vehicle service to ensure that it’s in
good road worthy condition
- Checking tyre pressures and
condition regularly
- Performing mechanical duties as
required
Requirements
- Preferably Grade 1 in Mechanical
Engineering
- Mature and self-starter
- Well conversant and experience in
fixing trucks (Mercedes Benz 1823
series)
- Aged 35 years and above
- Minimum 10 years experience in a
similar position in a busy workshop
- Prepare to work long hours
