Billing Application Specialist- Postpaid, Mediation and CDR Management

Reporting to Manager-Billing Systems, the Specialist will be responsible supporting the Postpaid Billing System and ensuring end-to-end   availability of CDRs, from Core network elements, through Mediation to Billing Systems and Roaming Data Clearing Houses

Responsibilities
  • Ensures each Core Network element produces CDRs and that these CDRs are available in  Mediation systems and Billing Systems
  • Ensure CDRs, NRTDE and Tap file availability in Billing Systems, Roaming Server and Data Clearing Houses
  • Identifies missing, rejected CDRs and Tap files and ensure they are rectified and re-processed timely.
  •  Produces timely  reports related to CDR management such as RAP file Report, Missing File Report, Re-processed files Report
  • Ensures CDRs are backed up on a daily basis
  • Postpaid System administration
Education
  • Minimum Qualification: Degree in IT/Engineering with at least 2 years’ experience. Knowledge of VXVIEW will be an added advantage
